My Education:

  My name is Safea Kahiapo and I am a 2006 graduate of Hakipu`u Learning Center--a public Hawaiian charter school located in Kaneohe. During my junior and senior year of high school, I participated in a program called "Running Start." It's a program that enables high school students to attend college. That means I was able to receive my college credits while still attending high school. The classes I took were English 100, Math 100, Psychology 100, Hawaiian 101 & 102, and Hawaiian Studies 107.

My Educational Aspirations:

 Computer Science, Psychology

My Career Aspirations:

 Computer Programmer, Psychologist

 

My Achievements:

 My major achievement would have to be balancing high school and college at the same  time.

My Goals:

 One of my main goals in life is to graduate with a bachelor's degree.

 

My Family:

  I am the youngest of two sisters and one brother. I also have six nephews and two nieces.

My Hobbies:

  I enjoy body boarding, paddling, football, basketball, playing music (various instruments), and spending time with family and friends.

My Awards:

  Basketball and soccer trophies, paddling medals, and various certificates and awards from school.
