Hi, I'm Julia. I am
Elisabeth's partner in designing this webpage. If there
are any flaws in its HTML, spelling, or general good taste,
blame us.
My claims to fame these days are my love of drawing,
my green belt in tae kwon do, and my talent in the art
of procrastination.
I go to Amherst College in Massachusetts. Every chance I get I go home to be with the wonderful people in The Group. I am majoring in geology, but I do not plan to become a geologist. I dream of becoming an artist and working in animation or motion picture post-production at Industrial Light and Magic. In the summer of 1998, I worked at the Astrogeology Headquarters of the U.S. Geological Survey in Flagstaff, Arizona. I researched small volcanic deposits on the Moon. I mostly used computers to extract brightness data from digital images of the Moon's surface. This summer, I spent one month on the island of Syros, Greece, doing research for my senior thesis in geology (going to be a busy year). Then I spent five weeks in Montana and Wyoming in a course on field geology techniques. My super-cool brother is starting as a freshman at RPI this fall. I hope he loves his air-conditioned apartment and his nice advisor, and I hope he kicks butt in his mechanical engineering classes. Have fun on this webpage!

| This is Madge, one of my very favorite characters. She's the most fearsome pirate ever to roam the seven seas! Except for Q, of course. I have devoted a whole page to The Adventures of Madge, Q, and Squeak! |
