There are 5 modules in which staff may choose to search:

- 2 Public modules
No password required. Records suppressed from OPAC cannot be retrieved

Web Voyage, WebOpac, WebPac (these are synonyms)

Windows OPAC

- 3 Staff modules
Password required. All records, suppressed or not suppressed, can be retrieved

Cataloging
Circulation

NOTES:

Names for the types of searches may vary between modules.
-----> example: Web = guided keyword; Acquisitions = builder
There may be two or more specific searches within a search type.
-----> example: Cataloging = keyword free text and keyword Boolean
The default search and its parameters may vary between modules.
-----> example: Acquisitions = non-keyword, find, journal title
Some types of searches are available only in certain modules.
-----> example: Public = course reserves, record number
