| My life in HAWAII... |

This photo was taken
from the airplane as I was moving to Hawaii in August of 2007. I
moved to Honolulu to attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I
am currently working on my Master's degree in Educational
Administration K-12. I plan on using my degree to work as an
administrator in the field of Special Education. |

I have had many
visitors while living in Hawaii. My best friend, Brandie, was the
first to come and vacation on the islands. This photos was taken
at Lanakai Beach on the Windward side of Oahu. We had a great
time exploring and having fun in Hawaii. |

In Feb. 2008, the
Zelinsky family came to visit from Alaska. We ventured over to
the island of Kauai and had a great time. This photo was taken on
a rainy and cloudy day out at the canyon. We went back a few days
later and were able to see the amazing views the canyon had to offer.

I have enjoyed some
amazing sunsets in Hawaii. This one was particularly special
since I was with my friends in Kauai. Living in Alaska, I have
seen my share of whales, but this sunset in Kauai was made extra
special with the addition of whales playing in the background. We
sat for hours and watched the whales breaching out in the distance.

The first few months
living in Hawaii was difficult without a car. I finally broke
down and bought this fun little island car. It has taken us all
over the island many times. I will be sad to sell it when I
leave. I don't think this car will do so well in the winters of
Alaska! |

This photo was actually
taken while Brandie and I were vacationing in Barbados. I was
never a beach girl, I always enjoyed the mountains more. But, I
think this trip was instrumental in my new found love for the beach and
the sun. I have learned the art of relaxation and soaking up the
sun!!! Life is hard! |
