Alpenglow...that
is when you have a reddish pink tint from the sunset or sunrise.
This picture captures a beautiful sunset along Turnagain Arm
just outside Anchorage, Alaska. Brandie and I were on our way
with friends to Girdwood for dinner when we had to take a picture of
the amazing view. I just love my neighborhood! |

When Brandie
moved to Richmond, VA, we decided to drive the ALCAN. This was my
second trip down the ALCAN and it was adventurous as always. This
photo was taken at the beginning of our trip. After the 5,000
mile road trip I didn't feel much like taking photos.

Even though, Bailey
is with me in Hawaii. I felt she needed to go under the Alaska
page. She loves it in Alaska. She love the snow, the cold,
and the long dark days so she can sleep! She also has a desire to
run the Iditarod...but has come to grasp that she was born into the
wrong breed to do that! This little Pekingese has more spunk than
you can imagine. Even in her stubbornness....I love her more than
anything! We have been through a lot together. I bought her
in Texas and she has made the move to Alaska and Hawaii with me.
She is counting the days to get back to Alaska...she hates the
heat! |
