On Saturday, December 6th, 1997, the annual Honolulu City Lights Parade, which featured marching bands and decorated vehicles from various city agencies, delighted thousands in the downtown Honolulu area. The parade was televised live on cable TV and rebroadcast on Christmas Eve. On Sunday, December 7th, 1997, this picture appeared on the front page of the Honolulu Advertiser.

I think that's me in the lower right corner. I do know that I was in that general area, wearing a yellow windbreaker jacket, an orange traffic vest with a horizontal reflective stripe, blue jeans, and white athletic shoes. My radio was in a holster on the back of my left hip.
