Notes:
This network was developed to model the information accumulation of the pigeon and dolphin. For example, during echolocation, the dolphin’s ears produce a pattern of activation on the inputs which then feed to the integrator layer. The integrator layer adds together the echoes from successive clicks. The gateway layer resets the integrator layer when the dolphin moves from echolocating on one object to echolocating on another.
