Notes:
Echo returned from an aluminum cylinder in mud placed behind and empty soda can. The can produces the larger tracing at about 200 ?sec the aluminum cylinder returns the smaller highlight at about 275 ?sec. Not shown are the earlier sections of the echo from the water-mud interface and other “inclusions” in the mud and later portions of the echo reflecting from inclusions deeper in the mud.
