Biographic Sketch Employment: I am the Manager of Operations at University of
Hawaii at Manoa Sinclair Library. Prior to being at
Sinclair I was based in Hamilton Library as Head of Library Systems and was
responsible for the automation of the University of Hawaii Libraries, so my
experience with technology is pretty broad. Teaching experience:
I taught in elementary education in Tegucigalpa, Honduras Central
America before I came to HawaiĠi, and I occasionally guest lecture at
UHM. Education: I attended
University
of California, San Diego from 1973-1979 I was awarded a K-12
multi-subject bilingual teaching credential and Bachelor of Arts in
Communications and Sociology. I am a librarian and got my Master's in Library
Science from UH Manoa in 1982. I am a graduate student in the Educational
Technology program scheduled to graduate Spring 2006. Hobbies: Sacred Dance, Contra Dance, Prayer Clusters,
snorkel at Hanauma Bay, volunteer at Calvary
