H.A.W.K.
Hawaii Association
    of Women Kendoists

The Hawaii Association of Women Kendoists, H.A.W.K.s, was formed on February 24, 2001 to create an environment in which the female kenshi of Hawaii could come together for cameraderie and the perpetuation of kendo.

The group consists of members from dojos across the state including the islands of O`ahu, Kaua`i, Maui, and the Big Island.

Recently formed, much has already been accomplished by its members and the group as a whole.  Social activities, a mainland trip, a women's taikai, and fundraising are just a few of the activities that the group has organized and accomplished.  With such an ambitious group much can be expected in the future.
