Windward Community College Library - Reference Librarian
      Windward CC - University of Hawai‘i      November 2002 to present
      Supervisor: Nancy Heu (808) 235-7435

         Duties include reference and other library services at the information desk, teaching students searching, research and computer skills, collection development with an emphasis on the Hawaiian collection, assisting students with software and hardware computer questions, and producing documents for the library such as book lists, handouts, posters, research tools, and guides. Other activities include chair of the Common Book committee, member of the Staff Develompent committee, and both credit and non-credit teaching duties.

Marine Option Program - Newsletter Editor
      University of Hawai‘i      August 1999 to June, 2004
      Supervisor: Dr. Sherwood Maynard       (808) 956-8433

         Duties include writing, editing and publishing Seawords, the monthly newsletter of the Marine Option Program at the University of Hawai‘i. The production process also involved laying out the newsletter with Pagemaker and preparing the newsletter for bulk mailing.

Globalization Research Center - Computer Support

         In addition to general computer support, duties have included designing and implementing the GRC office’s computer network, producing a variety of documents (posters, brochures, booklets, name tags) for GRC-sponsored conferences, and advising on computer-related projects.
