How the Scholarship Helped You
I was able to meet and become friends with
a lot of great people, many of who have similar
career goals to my own. I also don't have to worry
about tuition, which allows me to focus on my
studies. Also, the stipend money helps me to pay for
books.
Why You Became an Officer:
I
had a great experience as a Jumpstart committee member
this past summer, where I was able to help actively
plan and participate in it, as well as meet the new
scholars. I wanted to find another way to become more
involved in the club, and I thought I would be able to
best do this through assuming a leadership position. I
really enjoy spending time with my fellow Regents
scholars; they're a really awesome group of people.
