IN GOD WE "TRUSS"

Introduction:
Trusses are a structure composed of triangles and parallel bars.  Due to its shape and design, it is good for the stability for structures.  It is used in many places, for example in bridges, roofs, and flooring.  There are two basic types of trusses the pitched truss (commom truss) that is characterized by their triangular shape, and the parallel chord truss (flat truss) that is parallel at the top and bottom of their trusts. It is important to our society in Civil Engineering because it is the base of many of our structures.

My hypothesis is that during this project, I will learn the basis of the components that make trusses work so well and give the best stability.  I will learn some of the component from calculating the best angles, to how many triangles is best for the purpose of the structure.  Also taking into factor outside forces like weather and other natural forces that could affect the structure from collapsing.
