Amy Hennessey, a former member of our chapter, is now our professional adviser. Amy's work with PRSSA gave her the opportunity to begin a successful career in public relations, right here in Hawaii. She is currently the Manager of Foundation Communications at Hawaii Pacific Health. Amy was previously Vice President of McNeil Wilson Communications, one of the most prestigious corporate public relations firms in the country. Her humble start began right here at UH Manoa. At university, Amy was district director of the California, Nevada, and Hawai‘i chapters of PRSSA. Being in PRSSA allowed Amy to make lifelong friends. She was also president of the PRSSA Hawai‘i chapter, the UH student chapter liason, and the chapter's assembly delegate. Amy was also a member of the UH Alumni Association Communications Committee.
