I choose to do macro focus on the texture of rocks. Macro: the distinctive physical composition or structure of something, especially with respect to the size, shape, and arrangement of its parts. Rock: a naturally formed aggregate of mineral matter constituting a significant part of the earth's crust. There is a variety of types of rocks found in Hawaii, from porous black cinder to dense blue rock. When taking the macro pictures and being so close to the rocks, I noticed a lot of plant life and growth in the pores. I chose macro for this project because it would hone my ability to control the camera with such precise intuition.
