It is during this time that I met my life-long friends, made a self-discovery of my capabilities and took the time to really stop & smell paradise. I attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, which is located in urban Honolulu in the valley of Manoa for 5 years. I majored in Journalism with an emphasis in public relations and an outside concentration in marketing. Those 5 years are the best years of my life because of all of the challenges that I went through personally and academically. My leadership experience included offices such as chapter president, immediate past-president and director of professional development for the University of Hawaii at Manoa Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter as well as a vital role as the media & budget team leader and public relations & promotion team member of our marketing communications campaign that focused on Bank of America Investment Services, Inc.
