Michael's World of Wild Web Things

. . . BE STILL!" [he said] and tamed them with the magic trick
of staring into all their yellow eyes without blinking once
and they were frightened and called him the most wild thing of all.

When the Web was young, and search engines did not exist, many of the early "Cybernauts" depended upon the posting of "groovy" links by their peers as a way of keeping up with the expanding nature of the Web's global information database.

Then the rest of us caught on! The Web soon exploded with a plethora of new sites! The sheer volume of information being posted to the Web grew [and continues to grow!] exponentially [I'll reserve comment on issues of value, however] as did the number of computer users accessing the Web.

As such, my collection of bookmarks has become far too large and unruly for even Max to keep tamed! Furthermore, the provision of broad, all encompassing [yeah, right!] personal HOT lists to all and sundry Web Surfers is very time consuming and perhaps even a bit passé. So, no more "monster" lists. I will, however, continue to add the occasional NEW link to the Favorite Hang-Outs, but for the most part the eclectic bookmark list is a thing of the past [--sigh--]. As always, if you know of any "groovy" links you think I might be interested in let me know! Otherwise, visit any one of the wonderful search engines currently available [standard disclaimer]. . . Oh yes, thanks for visiting! :-)
