The Symbols of the Society
The symbol of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars is an open book, with a torch rising from its pages, capped with three stars and surrounded by laurel.

Making a Difference
A guiding principle of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars is to give back to the community through service. There are many ways to serve the community. You may choose to get involved in Planning for College Success, NSCS's national service initiative, or in other activities organized by your local chapter. There are also many other service initiatives looking for volunteers.
