ICS 606 / EE 606 -- Spring 2009

This assignment counts 100 points toward your assignment grade.

This assignment is to use the available tools to create and run programs on your choice of different platforms and topics.

• Robocup Rescue - Download and install the current version of the RoboCup Rescue multi-agent system. Demonstrate the play-back of logged games and the simulation of games from one or more starting scenarios. For details see http://www.robocuprescue.org/
• USAR simulator - as described in the paper "Human-Robot Teaming for Search and Rescue" by Nourbakhsh, et al., presented by Ashkan, demonstrate their USARsim system. The code is at: http://usl.sis.pitt.edu/ulab/usarsim_download_page.htm
• List of Intelligent Agent projects on Sourceforge ( http://sourceforge.net/softwaremap/trove_list.php?form_cat=591 ).

Extra credit - up to 100 points of extra credit for creating your own agent(s) that work with the simulator.

You may work in groups of 2-4.

You must turn in one copy of the code for each group, individual reports, and demonstrate your team (or assignment 1 vacuum) in class.

Assignment Demonstrations: Mon & Wed Week 14 (limit to 15 minutes) Apr. 20 & 22.

Due Date: Assignment code & report - Friday, Week 14, April 24, 11:59 pm.
