I teach ICS classes at Kapi'olani Community College.
I've been doing this for almost two years and it's a pretty radical change from my previous life as a software developer on the mainland.
I've had a long term interest in computer graphics and gaming. Over the summer I worked with Dr. Daniel Suthers in the LILT lab at University of Hawai'i Manoa. I extended his project Belvedere to be data-driven.
I'm currently enrolled in ICS 667 and ICS 624.
I'm starting to do research for my thesis. It's going to have something to do with developing an architecture for expressing meaning and intention in on-line discussion.
I oversee an advanced graphics and multimedia lab/classroom at Kapi'olani. We'll be working in association with the Academy for Creative Media developing advanced, cross-discipline interactive multimedia classes.
