Features

  • up to 60 seconds of recorded voice time (120 seconds at higher compression rates)
  • no battery needed, powered by the console
  • reprogrammable sound chips
  • trigger speech on cartridge startup, collisions, etc.
  • large library of pre-recorded speech messages (Sound Samples)

 Design

  • plugs into the 2nd player port on an Atari 2600 VCS (only tested on a non-heavy sixer model)
  • 8 KHz voice sampling
  • activation code fits into the vertical sync section of most 2600 game programs
