Comdex:                     Las Vegas 2000-Physical Lead #1

As Physical 1 Team Lead I was responsible for the overall planning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and operation of the network cable plant. I took  direct oversight of the show-floor installation and  oversaw the off show-floor areas as well .  I also had to patch, test and troubleshoot the MAN links between venues.  Other key areas of focus for this position were the deployment and connectivity of the fiber backbone, coordination between the network team and the in-house provider, testing and troubleshooting of copper drops, and all aspects of the off show-floor connections By efficiently delegating tasks to both my team and the in-house service provider, we were able to accomplish our deadlines with a much smaller crew than is used in similar shows
