Company Profile

Pump Engineering, Inc. (PEI) was founded in 1986 on the premise much work was yet to be accomplished in centrifugal pump technology.  Important concepts for improving pump performance such as the hybrid impeller and idler disk drag reduction were developed and patented.  PEI next developed and commercialized the Hydraulic Turbo Charger (Turbo^TM), patented energy recovery device for fluid processes.  The Turbo^TM remains the companies primary focus as new markets and design variations are explored.  Currently PEI manufactures its products at PEI Headquarters in Monroe, MI.  PEI sells and services on a world wide basis from the HQ Office and from the Pump Engineering International Office located in Basel, Switzerland.
