Picking a Medical School

Your First Stop: The Medical School Admissions Requirements (MSAR)

The MSAR is AMCAS's official resource with statistics and requirements for each medical school. Click here to learn more. Along with each school's prerequisites, the MSAR also includes demographics, average MCAT/GPA, # enrolled, # matriculated, etc. This should be your first resource to go to when looking up any medical school to make sure you have taken all the correct classes. The information published here is reported to AMCAS directly from each admissions department of each school but it is still your responsibility to double check with Admissions if you have any questions or notice any discrepancies. It is a paid resource (subscription based) but is free if you qualify for the Fee Assistance Program (FAP)
