When to Register:

Those without Faculty/Staff tuition benefits should register in the assigned or continued registration periods, before the first day of instruction, Monday May 21, 2012. Plan to register during the April 4 to May 20, 2012 period if you have not already.

Those with Faculty/Staff tuition benefits should register in the late registration period after the first day of instruction, Monday May 21, 2012, but before May 24 at 4:00 pm (HST). Plan to register during the May 21 to May 24, 2012 period:

05/24/2012 Last day to receive 100% tuition refund
05/28/2012 Last day to receive 50% tuition refund
05/28/2012 Last day to drop (No "W" on transcript)
06/13/2012 Last day to withdraw from class ("W" on transcript)

How to Register:

Registration is performed on-line via the MyUH Portal system:

http://myuh.hawaii.edu

Please be sure to register for courses so that you get a letter grade "A-F" and _not_ as "pass-fail".

If you have difficulty with registration due to error messages or holds, please let us know so I can help clear these or get you in contact with the right people.

Faculty Staff Tuition Waivers:

If possible, please locate and select the option to submit your faculty staff tuition waiver on-line while registering with MyUH Portal. This will save time and effort. Instructions can be found here:

If you need to submit the waiver manually due to a family member who is a UH employee, or for any other reason, you can download a Faculty Staff Tuition Waiver form here:

Please fill this out, print it, and get it signed by your personnel officer, or get it to us as soon as possible.

The appropriate research courses to register for depends on where you are in your research process, and who is on your committee.

You can only take Thesis Research 700 if your Masters Form II is approved, otherwise, take 699, which can be converted to 700 later. This does not include 699's taken in the final semester.

700 must be taken in the final semester of your MS degree program, when you are to graduate.

If supplemental research specific credits are required, take 660. 660 is not recommended in the final two semesters of degree progress.

If you are uncertain which courses to register for, please consult with your advisor or Dr. Harrigan.
