Stinky

The orange Cat

 

Once upon a time 2 sisters went to Waimea Beach to lay out in the sun. When the sun began to go down the packed up thier things and headed towards the showers to wash their feet off before they got into the car. As they approache the showers, they saw a little orange kitten walking slowly towrds the shower.

The kitten was really emaciated, and each step he took was slow and wobbly. He walked stright through the slashing wter, and plopped his body down next to the wall. He looked as though he had given up, and just decided to lie there until he died...or some sucker picked him up.

And that is what the girls did. "Oh poor thing!" "He looks like he is starving!" "Lets take him home." "Mom is going to be mad." "What will the dog thimk?" "What if he is sick and going to die anyway?" "OK lets take him to the vet first, see what happens." And so they did. They emptied out one beach bag, put him inside and brought him to the car. He didn't even put up a fight.

They left Waimea and headed for home. Matsumoto Shave Ice was still open, so they decided to swing by on the way. Much to their suprise, by the time they reached Matsumoto's, the little orange cat was meowing and running all over the car! "Hey, you arem't dying!" The girls were exasperated and amused at the same time. "I guess we must have looked like succers, and you put on that act for us hu?" "Well we'll take you to the vet and see if you're fit to come home with us or not."

They finished their shave ice and headed for the vet. After a complete examination it was determined that the orange kitten was about 4 months old, but was so malnurished that he looked only about 6 weeks old. He was prbably eating garbage at the beach, and that caused him to have a strange bacteria living in his stomach along with the usual tape worm infestation common among stray animals. The vet assured them that their dog couldn't catch anything from the cat, and the other conditions would go away with some medicine, and loving care. So they took him home.

He was sweet and playful, and he and the dog got along great! The only bad things was the stinky farts he would let out quite frequently due to the medicine to get rid of the bacteria in his stomach. Thus he was given the name Stinky.

And that is how Stinky joined Mie the Pooh's Family Zoo!
