Hawai`i Communty College

Writing Intensive Program

Writing Intensive Courses
at Hawai`i Community College

Note to students:
Each HawCC writing intensive class is both instructor and course approved.  This approval  is shown as WI- in the Schedule of Classes each semester.  For example, not all sections of Speech and Communication are writing intensive;  only a section marked with a WI- is approved and only for the particular semester and teacher indicated  in the Schedule of Classes.  A student is required to take one writing-intensive in order to receive a two-year liberal arts degree at HawCC.
