
My side interests vary in all types of marine bioacoustics, including
physiological, passive, and active acoustics. To the left I am working in
Friday Harbor Washington, University of Washington, deploying a 200 kHz multibeam sonar to map the bathymetry of San Juan Channel.
We also did this with a 120 kHz SIMRAD sonar (see below) and with the same
sonar, measured the target strengths of a coho salmon.


But life aint so easy. As is clearly seen in some other interests. They include:
