- Consists of the countries of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India,
Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri-Lanka . Information related to each of
these countries in the areas of economy, population, development, culture,
tourism etc. are available in reasonable detail. The information is
primarily based on World Fact Book and contributions from various
voluntary organisations and individuals.

- A Consortium of South Asia
Collections at five University Libraries: UC - Berkeley; UCLA, Univ. of
Hawaii, Univ. of Texas, and the Univ. of Washington. Includes pages for
the consortium agreement, subject profiles of participating institutions,
and soon to include bibliographic guides to finding information on a
variety of South Asia related academic topics.

- A
non-profit group for lesbian and gay South Asians. Founded in 1986 in
the San Francisco Bay Area, Trikone is the oldest group of its kind in
the world. It's goal is to bring women and men of South Asian heritage
together in a friendly, supportive, and non-judgmental environment, and
to promote awareness, visibility and acceptance of alternative sexuality
in society. Trikone proudly affirms both its South Asian identity as well
as its sexuality.Lesbian and Gay South Asians.

in issues relevant to south asian women. `South Asia' is taken to include
Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The
