PERPETUATING THE CYCLE

Your kinesthetic involvement with me, whether conscious or subconscious, is a means by which the materiality of my print form - a real book - is simulated. In other words, the use of your mouse to control and manipulate my structure, as it exists within Loyer's WebTake, is a simulation of your real-life interactions with my print version. Through the mouse and computer screen you are able to open and close me, flip me and twist me, break my spine even, as you would my original print form. The simple act of clicking through my page-screens is in itself a tiny form of kinesthetic involvement that replicates the act of turning a page.
