"Lying in my plastic bed, thinking how things weren't so cool to me. My baby likes to shoot pool, I like lying naked in my bedroom, tying on the dinosaur tonight. It used to be so cool. Now I've got the needle and I can't shake but I can't breathe. I take it away but I want more and more, one day I'm gonna lose the war."

well, well, how are all my pretty little friends doing? you'll have to excuse me for my looooong leave of absence but i've been busy, i'm sure you understand?

got this job at a preschool. helping in the classroom. it's great experience even though it technically (according to UHMCOE) doesn't relate to my field. little kids are really cute, makes me want to have one. of course, not really, because some of them just aren't very cute at all. well, they are cute looking but they cry and they wet and they spill and they don't listen. some of them even talk back and sass. overall, it's a pretty good job though. too bad it's only summer but i have a classicly fucked up UHM schedule this coming semester so i won't be able to fit preschool in.

so i'm working full time at preschool during the day and then i work at the hut at night. that's still the same job it always is. it's good but it's not but it's still better than zippy's or domino's (my two previous jobs)

i'm gonna go to tahoe in august, for a week long vacation with dave and his family. his aunty cindy from new york is going to meet us there. i've never been there or met her so it will be interesting, to say the least.

i'm not sure if i mentioned my little accident a while back, with the two fat hawaiian ladies, but their wonderful insurance company denied my claim because they pulled some "independent witness" out of their ample ass cheeks who for some odd reason shared the same view of the accident as the two fat ladies who ran up to him at the bus stop as soon as we pulled over and filled him in on all the details about how i let them in the lane and then ran into the back of their car even though the damage is all on the sides of the cars and my beautiful baby car now has an ugly dent where there wasn't one before. how much sense does that make?

i had a cellular phone from hon cell and for some reason the antennae started getting stuck when i was pulling it in and out. so i took it down to get fixed and this service guy takes my phone apart and says, "your straw is bent." and shows me this plastic straw which was bent. my straw? there's a straw in my $120 digital phone? alrighty. so he gives me a new straw and puts my phone back together. yup, it went up and down really well. but then people couldn't hear me when i talked. so i took it back. another service guy takes my phone and does some tests and tells me that somehow they completely destroyed the microphone while fixing the straw so he'll have to give me a loaner phone while they replace that part. so he gives me this phone that's just like my phone except it's not my phone so it doesn't have any of my phone numbers stored in it.

so i'm wondering whre is my phone because it's been a while and i was thinking that it doesn't take that long to take it apart and put that mic back in and screw it all back together again. so while i was down there picking up a new battery i asked about m y phone. so another service guy tells me that it takes 6 to 8 weeks and don't worry because they'll call me as soon as it comes in because they want to get their loaner phone back. okie, that's the part that was werid because i'm thinking, which phone is better, the loaner phone which has been used and probably abused (oops, oh well, not my phone) by who knows how many people OR the phone that has been lovingly cared for and protected and used by just one person? hmmmmm....now that's hard to figure out. it's not like they gave me a better phone, it's the exact same model as the one i have.

dave has been sleeping for about 10 hours. if i let him he'll probably sleep for another 2 or 3. maybe i will let him. i don't know how you can sleep that much. i usually wake up after 8 or so.

i got two guinea pigs. they're reallly cute. stewie and furby, that's what they're called. i got them from the human society and yes, i intentionally left off the e. they got neutered which i thought was interesting because i knew they did rabbits (i have 2 rabbits from there) but i thought the gps were a little small for that sort of thing. guess i was wrong. i took some pictures and i'm going to build a little place for the rabbits and gps to run around so i'll take some more pictures then. i've got lots of pictures to put up here, it's just a matter of time. of course there's a picture that i don't have that i'd like to have but someone doesn't seem to like their pictures so i'll just have to settle for the one i've already got up here that he doesn't like but i won't remove until he gives me one to replace it. you know who you are....

so anyway, i really should get going. i just wanted to give a briefing of what i've been up to these past two months. there's more but basically that's about it. work and work and more work. so much fun my summer is.
