"Momma don't like this wicked clown; I might come from the dark side of town. But when she's gone and you're alone again, fifty bucks says you'll let me in." Today I don't have anything to do. And I really don't. Usually when I don't have anything to do, I actually have a lot of homework that's supposed to be done or a paper to write or something. Aside from having a final later tonight though, there really is nothing. I can't really study for the final since I don't really know what's going to be on it and the stuff I do know, I don't think there's really a good way to study for it. Besides, how often do I actually study? Not very. I decided I would clean the house today, after I finish making my AOL coasters. I started on the coasters but then got caught up in the evils of neopets. I hate those little bastards but I'm obsessed with being a neomillionaire. I'm 25% there, no more than that. I'm nearly 50% there. Received a letter from friend Mona today. I should give her a call soon to go hang out, but we all know how I'm so good at doing that. Tomorrow I'm going to weed all the flower beds. Why? Well, for one thing, it's almost time to start planting things again and there's grass growing in my planting places. For another thing, my mom gave me some jobs to do around the house and that's one of the easiest ones to do. The other easy one is to clean the refer which I will probably do on Friday or maybe even tomorrow night since I can't very well weed things during the dark night hours. I'm very excited to get out in the yard because I'll get to use my yard weasel some more. That thing is just so cool. I think I'll have to take a few pictures of it and it's destructiveness. Just went to the bathroom and along the way passed by my coaster project. Now I feel bad for abandoning it, right in the middle so I'm going to go do that. Be back.
I finished my coasters and I even did some work on my dog kennel conversion project. Last night I decided to do something with my basil plant and I made some pesto. I chopped up a bunch of the fresh picked stuff, added some (ok lots of) garlic, parmesan cheese, S&P, olive oil. Blend, more oil, blend, taste, more oil, more cheese, blend, more oil, more salt, more oil, blend, blend, taste. Yum. I put lots of oil because I'm going to use it for pasta sauce. W said it tastes like a plant. I think he was expecting it to taste like the pesto sauce they use at work. It actually does taste like that except at work they cut it with just about equal amounts of ranch dressing. Anyway, I'm pleased with my first pesto experiment. Sometimes I think I should write these things down as I do them just for future reference. Then again, the unpredictability is what makes cooking fun, everytime I make something it's slightly different. Today's plans include going down to AIG to switch W's insurance since they quoted him about $100 less than his current company (State Farm), more dog kennel conversion work, and making a new mixed ICP CD because Landon (my true love) has my other one on permanent loan. Also I'm going to make a copy of Neden Game for Lil' P since he likes that song. G-ma is out of the hospital, the day after having surgery to remove the large kidney stone. They found some tumors in her bladder and removed those as well. She's waiting for the biopsy results. Waiting is sometimes the hardest part.
