kie as i sit here enjoying my solitary valentine's day dinner of sushi from safeway, i will think of some clever and witty things to say.

nope, can't think of any. instead i'll tell you about what lovely things i got for this day of love. actually, no i won't. but i will say that i lvoe it all and everyone is very sweet. oh but i did get these origami flowers from my guest of the state of texas friend, dave-id, and they are really nice and cool, i'll have to find a nice something to display them in. i just had to mention them because it shows that women are not always totally into material stuffs and about spending money because he only spent the postage it took to mail the box to me, oh and maybe he bought some origami paper, but you know, it was totally from his heart and he spent lots of time on it to make it jsut perfect and it was.

not to say that i didn't like anyone else's gifts because i loved those too, i got a sweet keychain from d and something nice fro wailer too, and lots of vd greetings from various people.

ohohoh and my friend dave-id called me!! but i wasn't home to take his call, so i'm hoping he'll get the chance to call again, hopefully in the next two days since i am off. when i saw the number on the caller id, i was tripping because i idn't think he'd ever call. he mentioned something in one of his letters about lacking the nerve to call. so yah, i hope he calls again soon because i really am looking forward tot alking to him.

so tonight i was delivering a pizza to this lady and she asks how much he order was, i tell her "14.53" she gives me $15 and tells me to go ahead and keep the rest. i really had to get out of there quick before i said what i was thinking, "sure i'd love to, as soon as you give me the rest." i mean, what the hell, what kind of a tip is 47 cents? and it was freaking pouring today too. that sucked. sometimes i'd really like to smack some people around.

i have a lot of house cleaning stuff to do tomorrow and bills to pay and stuf. i can't believe i am finally off, i feel likei've been at work constantly for the past 5 days. i guess it's all those 10 hour shifts... hehe

people here drive really slow. like way below the speed limit. i find this to be a bit annoying because people in hawaii drive really fast, everywhere, all the time. if you wanna know what the speed limit is you should drive 10-15 miles slower than everyone else. here, you should drive 10-15 faster. if you can get around them. they all drive super slow!

mostly i see this happening on pacific hwy which is like kalanianaole in that it has intersections and strip malls, so traffic is always coming and going. the speed limit on kalanianaole is 35, but evryone drives 45-50, pac hwy's speed limit is 45, but everyone drives exactly 35, it's terrible.

there are some pretty nice long roads out here. i'd love to get my 'lude or a bike out here, i could have a lot of fun.

i fell down while i was working again. damn frozen ground. this time i landed on my shin and got my pants all wet and dirty. oh yah and my fall was broken by someone's pizza. when i pulled it out of the bag and handed it to the customer, the middle was smooshed in where i had landed. heehe that's what they get for having frozen ground.

it's about time for me to be getting offline and into bed. hope everyone had a spiffy valentine's day/night. even though i think valentine's day is a terrible commercial holiday which almost always guarantees unfulfilled women everywhere. oh well.
