Fall 2007
Spring 2008
Curriculum
The Hawai‘i
MCH LEND Program is tailored for each student’s learning. Each student works
with a faculty mentor to refine their vision of Maternal-Child Health. The
curriculum consists of a set of units or blocks which are sequential. It is
expected that at the conclusion of each block, the student will have reached
unit mastery by meeting the goals and objectives of the block. Features of the
Hawai‘i MCH LEND training include weekly core
seminars such as “Family-Partnerships Learning”, public policy, a clinical
practicum; community site visits; and program evaluation in conjunction with
State Title V programs.
