Hafa Adai (Hello)! I am of Guahan also known as Guam, the largest of the islands in the Marianas chain in the western Pacific. I am of the Chamoru people whose ancestors built shelters on high latte stones quarried from coral reefs and limestone beds; these latte are massive, monolithic structures that were constructed, transported and erected without benefit of modern technology. I am of the Perez and Hattori families; familian Titang on my mother's side and one of nine children born to Paul Mitsuo Hattori and Fermina Leon Guerrero Perez Hattori. I have one son and a great husband.
Currently living in Honolulu, Hawai'i, I serve Kapi'olani Community College as an assistant professor of Information Technology with the Business EducationDepartment and lead the Center for Excellence in Learning, Teaching and Technology. I am also a lecturer for the Educational Technology Department at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. |
