I'm a Phd student in the Information and Computer Sciences department here at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. I also hold Master of Science degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Florida.
My research interests include Systems, Networking, High Performance Computing, Distributed Computation, Algorithms, Computational Complexity, Network Security, Optical Character Recognition and Computability Theory.
I am a member of the Concurrency Research Group (CoRG), which is run by my advisor, Dr. Henri Casanova.
My previous projects include SMPI, a library interface intended to help run MPI applications on top of SimGrid without modification, and ocropus-bengali, an extension of Ocropus to the Bengali language.
I am currently doing research work on using virtual machines to improve performance, fairness, and user satisfaction in the high performance computing environment. I have a tech report online.
