RESEARCH

The faculty at the College of Agriculture are also heavily engaged in applied research focused towards solving problems faced by the agricultural industry in the State of Hawaii. The research interest of the individual faculty is detailed in the faculty profile page. Most of the research projects are conducted on the university farm or with cooperator agribusinesses. Students are generally involved in most of the research projects either as student assistants or for Ag 399 credits.

The College also publish “The Journal for Hawaiian and Pacific Agriculture” . The journal is a yearly peer-reviewed publication dedicated to disseminate results of research relevant to tropical agricultural sciences; environment and educational materials. The first volume was published in 1988; titles of contributed papers are listed below.
