This program is designed for students interested in sustaining
agrarian and surrounding ecosystems through more efficient
management of land, biota, and water. Low-input alternative
farming methods that emphasize nutrient recyclingand
"environmentally friendly" production practices are given
special consideration. Students who complete this curriculum
can anticipate career opportunities in environmental
regulatory agencies, conservation, farm service agencies,
farm management, commercial laboratories, and graduate
studies.
