HONOLULU — The University of Hawaii's flagship campus in the largely tranquil neighborhood of Manoa played host to a rare event recently: a festival spotlighting literature produced by Filipino and Filipino American writers. Spearheaded and organized by the Filipino and Philippine Literature Program at UH-Manoa, the Philippine Literature Festival was held from Thursday, April 12 to Friday, April 13 largely on the UH campus.
