I know... its not really a "tv show" tv show.. but its hilarious. And thats all I need to keep me entertained for 30 minutes!
This
is Robert Regan Burns, the host of the show. He is placed in a situation where
he poses as anything from a waiter to a parking attendant and he asks people
5 questions without them knowing they are on a game show. For each question
they get right, they receive $20. There is sometimes a special $100 bonus
if they themselves decide to do what he just did to someone else.
LA Weekly says Oblivious is a “sneakily funny look at middle-class American life, where what counts as general knowledge is being able to put a name to a supermodel’s face and identifying the Stephen King movie in which “a car came to life” as Christine. It’s the strange zombified realm of moronic service-sector jobs that Burns mines for his comedy, and he does it brilliantly.”
The show airs
on TNN, Sunday nights at 9:00 PM (ET/PT).
