In 1976, Tania was raised in Germany by her father. Her father's parents were also artists. So Tania was engaged to an artistic family.

During high school, Tania made a choice to drop out of high school to travel and become a painter.
She eventually attended an art school in Frankfurt, Germany from 1988 to 1993. She seemed to be inspired outside of her classroom that she had painted in junk yards, grave yards, rock and roll bars, and on streets within Frankfurt, Turkey, Greece, and Morocco.
Her work was very impressive that she had been invited to apprentice with a well known tattoo artist in Frankfurt.

After enough tattoo studying and meeting famous tattoo-ists, she had traveled once again. In year 2000, she had come to Maui where she now resides and works in tattooing, painting, and printmaking.
Tania had recently exhibited work in San Francisco, California and is working on a collection of linoleum prints and copperplate etchings which you may find in her Art section of her website. Her overall body of work spans from full-room murals to detailed, illustrative tattoos, abstracted portraits in water, rich Polynesian prints, and sumi ink dragons on surfboards.

I think that Tania is one of the best tattoo artists I have met. She has done four tattoos on me and I like the way my tattoos look. I am impressed with her talent and work. I think it is cool that she has grown up within an artistic and talented family.
