Waipahu:
A Hidden Treasure
One of the top most vacation spots in the entire
world is none other than Hawaii. With its eight major islands, Hawaii has much
to offer tourists and residents alike. The greenery of Kauai allow tourists to
hike the mountains. The rugged outbacks of Maui allow tourists to experience the
paniolo culture. The long ranges of volcanoes in the Big Island allow tourists
to get up, close, and personal with Madam Pele. Not to mention, the never ending
crystal beaches on Oahu attract surfers, wannabe surfers, and sightseers from
around the world. With all this beauty, it is no wonder many would be quick to
overlook a hidden attraction nestled about 14 miles west of Honolulu... a city
called Waipahu.
