Movie Pages on the Web

Internet Movie Data Base

The best place for looking up any movie, current or not. Unfortunately, the site takes forever to load.

Movie Review Query Engine

Faster than the Internet Movie Database for finding reviews.
Apparently now defunct.
The reviews I generally find the most useful are those by Roger Ebert, Salon, Rotten Tomatoes, the San Francisco Chronicle, and James Berardinelli.

Rotten Tomatoes

This would be the best starting point for looking for movie reviews --- if it didn't load so damned slow! (Uses Java. This site becomes more impossible every time I use it. For a particular movie, better to go through IMDB to get started.)
