This is not totally accurate. I think that you ought to look at Time Line Therapy as an intervention for depression. We have been using it since 1989 for depression and related symptomology, with excellent results.

If anyone wants I can post a specific outline for a Time Line Therapy intervention for depression.

This is the intervention taken from the Master Time Line TherapyŽ Practitioner Training notes. If you need some assistance with this, let me know.

General Paradigm for Depression Intervention Using Time Line TherapyŽ:

  1. Note idea of blueprint for perfect physical health
  2. Cite Deepak Chopra
  3. Find out when did they choose to have these symptoms?
  4. Ask why did the Unconscious Mind choose to create the symptoms of depression
  5. Check for secondary gain
  6. Check values: What's important about being totally free from the negative emotion (depression)
  7. Time Line TherapyŽ to release all Sadness
  8. Time Line TherapyŽ to release all Depression
  9. Time Line TherapyŽ to release any other related negative emotion
  10. Time Line TherapyŽ to eliminate Limiting Decision to have depression
  11. Parts Integration if necessary
  12. Hypnosis to ask the Unconscious Mind to support the process and change the physiology of the body -- change the physiology so that the physical component of the depression disappears.
  13. Install new strategy (perhaps the reality strategy) so that positive emotions are created instead
  14. Future Pace for personal mental health -- for alternative behavior
  15. Future Pace for other people who don't believe they're better -- future pace for doubting Thomases at home

Finally, please remember that, unless you are a licensed practitioner, if the client is dangerous to self or others, they probably should be referred out for therapy.
