Summer - 1997,

Credit Courses for Teachers

Technology is all around us and is affecting everyone. We need to prepare

students for their future. Educational Technology is a field of study

which deals with complex, integrated process involving people, procedures,

ideas, devices and strategies for analyzing problems and devising

solutions to those problems, involved in all aspects of human learning.

Educational technology has a total commitment to search systematically for

new and effective ways of organizing the teaching and learning process.

The magic of technology has added another dimension to instruction. The

Multimedia Learning Center has evolved into a series of courses focusing

on instructional design utilizing appropriate technologies for an

integrated curriculum for all classrooms. Technologies and resources from

many schools are brought together to provide the classroom teachers with a

rich learning experience.

All of these technology courses will be taught by

Kelvin Chun

Multimedia Learning Center Facilitator
