Homer J. Simpson is the patriarch of the Simpsons family. He is married to Marge and is the father of three children: Bart (10), Lisa (8) and Maggie (1). Homer works for Mr. Burns at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant as a safety inspector in sector 7G. He would love to make more money -- as long as it doesn't interfere with his many donut breaks. When he's not protecting Springfield from nuclear meltdown, Homer can usually be found in front of a snack vending machine. His favourite pasttimes including eating anything that's edible or non-edible, drinking Duff beer, hanging out at Moe's Tavern and lounging on the couch. Although Homer is a little slow and sluggish, he has accomplished some impressive feats. A few of these adventures have included travelling into space with NASA, becoming a mascot for the Springfield Isotopes, owning his own business, "Mr. Plow's snow-plowing service" and he's even been a sideshow as a cannonball target in Hullabalooza. Other highlights for Homer have included being the manager of country singer, Lurleen Lumpkin, being a member of the "B-Sharps" and landing the role of "Poochy" on the Itchy and Scratchy Show.
