Abstract:

Projectile motion or trajectory is the analysis of an object moving at some velocity (v, m/s) in space (x,y,z coordinates, meters) over time (t, seconds). For this lab, the projectile object is a missile and the motion analyzed is from the launch time to when the missle hits the ground. There are three forces acting upon the missile while it is in motion: gravititaional force of the Earth, atmospheric drag force and thrust force of the missile's fuel.
