說文解字 Annotated Editions. 說文解字is best consulted in one of its annotated editions, which include materials drawn from the later philological tradition. The two most important ones are:

1.1 Shuo wen jie zi gu lin 說文解字詁林 (A Forest of Glosses on the Shuo wen jie zi). Compiled by Ding Fubao 丁福保, 1931.
