STEVE JOB AND THE INTERNET





Steve Jobs, one of the founder of Apple Computers and CEO of Pixar, founded A little known company called NeXTStep after leaving Apple Computers. Hoping to repeat the sucess as Apple Computer did Steve Jobs created A computer that he envisioned as the new computer of the next generation. A Computer that was revolutionary in that the operating system was developed by A new programming technology called Object Oriented Programming.

Object Oriented Programming or OOP was a revolutionary concepted that greatly simplified the task of creating software thus reducing the time it took for development. It also was better suited at creating GUI (Graphical User Interface) than C++.

In 1997 NeXTStep was sold to Apple Computers, and although Steve Job's vision was not really A success, the development of OOP or Cocoa (NeXTStep's version) has greatly influence the computer and internet world today.
