Let me start by introducing myself, my name is Kendra (as it says at the top of the page). I was born on the island of Oahu.  At Queens Hospital on Friday, September 1, 1978 at 3:45 a.m. I arrived. I was seven pounds and 2 ounces and nineteen and a half inches long. My ethnicity is Japanese, 100% to be exact, both my parents a pure Japanese. My parent named me Kendra because it was a combination of their names. My dad's name is Kenneth and my mom's name is Sandra. Just in cases you don't get the connection, here is a visual aid:

(Kenneth-neth)+(Sandra-San)=Kendra

I was born and raised in Hawaii. To be more specific, the west side of island of Oahu. The town that I was raised in is Waianae.  Most of my family live in Waianae, for me, I live in a section of Waianae that is called Maili.  I have lived in the same house all my life.  I live close to the beach so if feel like going to the beach I just walk across the street and I'm there relaxing in the sun.

My family includes my parents and my two sisters.   As I mentioned before my dad's named is Kenneth and my mom's name is Sandra, they have been married for twenty-six years.  I also have two youngersisters. One sister is twenty-one and her named is Tracie. She is married  (she eloped) and soon she will be moving to Colorado to live with her husband, Pono, who is in the army.  My other sister is eighteen and her name is Shawna.  She is engaged to her boyfriend, Henry.

I also have pets. We had five dogs but now we have only four, they are all female. The oldest dog is a mix of pit bull and Labrador, we named her Girlie. Then comes the two sister pure Labs, we have one black one called Ebony and one light tan one called Honey. But we had to give away Honey to one of my dad's friends because he needed a dog for hunting.  We chose her to go because she was the friendliest to strangers.  All of my dogs are good hunter because they love to leave present are the yard.  The next dog is a pure pit bull named Missy.

Besides the family that are mentioned in the previous paragraph, I have other family. They include grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. I have only one living grandparent, my mom's mom. My mom has one sister and three brothers and my dad has one sister and one brother. Among the siblings of my parents, there are the children of these individuals , my cousins. I have approximately fifteen cousins from my parent's siblings. I also have other family members across the globe. I have family in the mainland, Japan, and Guam as well as the other islands in the Hawaiian islands.

In addition to my family, I have two close friends that I consider more than friends. The first person is my best friend Elena. I met her in eight grade. And we are still best of friends till this very day. The second person is Ryan.  He is gay and he is like a brother to me. Right now he is in the mainland going to school. He calls occasionally to catch up on everyone's lives

Enough about my family I will resume writing about myself. Let me tell you my educational background. At the age of five, I started kindergarten. The school I attended was Waianae Baptist Preschool and Kindergarten. The next school I went to was a public school, Maili Elementary School for the first grade. But in grades second through sixth, I attended a private school named Maili Bible School and Church. After graduating from elementary the next school attended was Waianae Intermediate School then on to Waianae High School. I was apart of the graduating Class of 1996. Now, I am currently enrolled at Kapiolani Community College.
